In 2020, I was juried into the Sanchez Art Center’s 50/50 show curated by Patricia Sweetow. 50/50 is a themed exhibition; I focused on the increase in anxiety and depression during the initial stages of the pandemic. The “OK” series uses the word “OK” to symbolize the reticence we often have in expressing our authentic emotions. Throughout, I documented the project on Instagram, pairing each image with reflections about mental health.
